Located about 25 miles west of New York City, it's an easily accessible suburban retreat that's highly commutable by car, train or bus. Major highways criss-cross the county also making it very easy to get away to the Jersey Shore, South Jersey, the Poconos, Catskills and more.

There are 39 municipalities in Morris County offering everything from a bustling downtown right on the train line (Morristown) to smaller towns with a more intimate feel like Boonton, Chatham, Chester, Denville, Madison and Mendham. Some towns are more rural and others offer a large geographic expanse and bigger populations.
