Morris Plains Borough is located in Morris County, NJ. It is one of the smaller areas in Morris County making the community best known for its friendly residents, adorable downtown area, convenient train station and picture perfect neighborhoods.

There’s an abundance of shops, restaurants and family activities as well as child friendly parks. You’ll never run out of things to do and see in this small town. Not to mention it’s fantastic location.

Morris Plains Public Schools consist of Mountain Way School for grades K-2 and Borough School for grades 3-8. Students in grades 9-12 attend Morristown High School, which also serves students from Morristown and Morris Township.

Many of the homes and neighborhoods surround the downtown train station allowing residents the convenience of walking to the station.
NJ Transit Morristown Line with direct service to Hoboken or NY Penn Station runs through the Morris Plains station. Passengers who take the Midtown Direct train will arrive at NY Penn Station in about 65 minutes.

Born and raised in Morris Plains, NJ, Benjamin A. Weinman is an American musician, most notable for being the lead guitarist for the band the Dillinger Escape Plan.

Weinman was named one of SPIN Magazine's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time and one of the 20 Most Influential Metal Guitarists Of The Modern Era by VH1. Weinman was also named one of Guitar World Magazine's 50 fastest guitar players of all time alongside guitar players such as Eddie Van Halen and Les Paul.
