Butler Township School District:

Butler is served by the Butler Public School District.

 

The district comprises three schools:
Aaron Decker Elementary School: This school accommodates students from Pre-K through second grade.
Richard Butler Middle School: Students from third grade to sixth grade will attend this school.
Butler High School: Serving grades seventh to twelfth.

 

THE COMMUTE

Butler offers convenient transportation options for commuters traveling to NYC. Commuters traveling by car reach NYC in about 45 minutes to an hour.


NJ Transit operates bus services from Butler Borough to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The nearest train station to Butler Borough is the Montclair-Boonton Line &  Mountain View Station in Wayne, NJ.

 

From there, commuters can take the
train to Hoboken Terminal or Penn Station into NYC. The train journey takes approximately 50 minutes to an hour.
