About Mount Olive - Flanders

Mount Olive Township in Morris County includes several different sections including Flanders,  Drakestown and Bartley and Budd Lake, which is the largest natural lake in New Jersey.

​

There’s no shortage of activities, shopping and local recreation for all ages in the Mt Olive area. Nearby Route 46 or 206 will bring you to  The International Trade Center Crossing which is one of the largest shopping malls in the area and offers many shops including Lowe’s, Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, Sam’s Club, Michael’s, Bed, Bath and Beyond, and a number of others. Restaurant chains also fill up the area with many mom and pop eats as well.

Budd Lake is an awesome summertime destination for many in the area with free admission to the sandy beach. Summertime festivals, concerts, and special events often take place.    

 

Mount Olive Schools:

Mount Olive has four grade schools: the Chester M. Stephens Elementary SchoolMountain View SchoolSandshore School and Tinc Road School. The township also has a middle school and a high school. The Mt Olive high school is known for its amazing athletic stadium.

Commuting Options:

The township is centrally located for commuters headed to NYC. Interstate 80 is easily accessible from the area as well as Routes 46 and 206. New Jersey Transit train service is available in Mount Olive. Your trip by car will take you about an hour, traffic permitting.
