Money magazine ranked Parsippany #5 best places to live in the US in 2016.

In 2006, Parsippany was also recognized by Money Magazine, ranked 17th, as one of the Best Places to Live in the United States - the highest-ranked location in New Jersey!

 

Parsippany has 31 parks throughout the township.

 

There are several sections in Parsippany including Lake Intervale, Lake Hiawatha, Lake Parsippany, Rainbow Lakes, and Mount Tabor. Parsippany residents often have a mailing address that is different from their physical location since the town is quite large.

Since Parsippany is quite large it has ten elementary schools, two middle schools and two high schools. Parsippany offers a diverse selection of public and private schools that consistently rank among the best in the state.

 

Thinking about commuting to NYC?

The Mount Tabor Train Station in Parsippany is located on the NJ Transit Morristown Line with direct service to Hoboken or NY Penn Station. Passengers who take the Midtown Direct train will arrive at NY Penn Station in about 60-70 minutes. There are also surrounding train stations in Denville and Morris Plains. The  Lakeland Bus Lines also provide service from Parsippany to NYC Port Authority.    

 

And if your thinking about a family day or night out in NYC- it’s only about a 40 minute drive. You can take an Uber too for about $50!  And if you're an avid traveller you will be only 30 minutes to Newark International Airport.
